Along with Hillside's own trails, Cedar Falls Park provides hours of both paved and dirt trails that venture through open fields, along the active river, and across various streams. The park is a wonderful part of the Fountain Inn community and offers a family friendly environment. Cedar Falls Park is located only five minutes from Hillside.

Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) is home of the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games and countless other year-round events. TIEC is conveniently located only one hour and thirty minutes from Hillside.

River Bend Equestrian Park

River Bend Equestrian Park is a Greenville Rec. public park located forty-five minutes from Hillside. The park offers lighted arenas, show stalls, and trails. The facility is free to the public except during shows and events.

The Clemson University T. Ed Garrison Arena is located within one hour from Hillside and frequently hosts rodeos, western pleasure competitions, and other organized equine activities.
